GP6 Well Siting Tool provides information and tools for GP6 well planning and analysis.
This map service was developed to assist well drillers and engineers to identify well locations likely to impact waters of the United States and Outstanding Iowa Waters. It does not take the place of existing rules and regulations.
The IDNR cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of distances determined by this service. While this service may be used to facilitate siting determinations, careful inspection of all available resources, including aerial photography, LiDAR data, and on-the-ground surveys, is necessary to assess compliance with legal requirements.
