Fishing Summary

This stretch of the Shell Rock River offers excellent opportunities to fish for Northern Pike, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Channel Catfish. Fingerling Northern Pike and Walleye are stocked annually. Abundant access, along the Shell Rock River Greenbelt in Cerro Gordo County, allows anglers to customize their float trip or hop between access points shore angling. Boat launching in Worth and Cerro Gordo counties is carry-down access. - Last updated on 02/08/2022.

Like all living creatures, fish are susceptible to diseases, parasites, and other naturally occurring conditions in the water. If you suspect your fish is affected by any of these conditions, do not eat it. Consider eating smaller and younger fish which usually have lower levels of contaminants than larger ones.
