Sawgrass is a community fishing pond well worth a visit. A 2018 fish survey found 9- to 18.5-inch largemouth bass, abundant bluegills from 4.5- to 8-inches and some good sized 8- to 11-inch white crappies. (2019)

Like all living creatures, fish are susceptible to diseases, parasites, and other naturally occurring conditions in the water. If you suspect your fish is affected by any of these conditions, do not eat it. Consider eating smaller and younger fish which usually have lower levels of contaminants than larger ones.   • 2019 - Vegetation-Treatment: Spot treatment for Eurasian watermilfoil and curly leaf pondweed control. Reward and Cide Kick II was applied in treatment zone identified in vegetation management plan. Treatment completed by AIS crew.
