Like all living creatures, fish are susceptible to diseases, parasites, and other naturally occurring conditions in the water. If you suspect your fish is affected by any of these conditions, do not eat it. Consider eating smaller and younger fish which usually have lower levels of contaminants than larger ones. Management

  • 2014 - Stocking-Bluegill: The Lake was filled in the spring of 2014 and stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill and channel catfish.
  • 2013 - Fishery Renovation-Chemical-Rotenone: Rotenone was used to renovated the 16 acre lake that was reduced to two acres to facilitate the removal of common carp. The County removed sediment from the shallow areas, placed rock riprap on the shorelines and added fish habitat.
