58320 		I stopped at this facility on 4/7/16 to conduct a routine air quality inspection. The facility was locked up and no one was present. Since this feed mill is located on the United Suppliers property, I stopped in their office to see if they knew anything about the status of the feed mill. I talked to Dave Mulder, Distribution & Logistics Manager for United Suppliers. He said that United Suppliers owned the feed mill building, but had leased it to Alltech a number of years ago. He said Alltech had been operating the feed mill up until ceasing operations in October 2015. He said they removed all the remaining feed and ingredients from the facility when they closed it down. He said Alltech and United Suppliers are currently in negotiations to terminate the lease agreement. Dave said that United Suppliers will get the feed mill building back, but they do not have any plans to run it as a feed mill again. He said they would just use it for additional warehouse space. The feed mill was built prior to 1970 so there are no air quality construction permits to rescind. Mr. Mulder provided me with contact information for Alltech. On 4/26/16, Scott Horton with Alltech sent me an e-mail and confirmed that operations at the Eldora plant ceased in the fall of 2015 and that they had no intentions of resuming operations. He also stated that the lease with United Suppliers has now been terminated. This facility can be listed as closed.
