Onsite Comments

FO3 investigated what appears to be a partial fish kill on approximately 2 miles of the West Branch Floyd River, 3 miles south and east of Sioux Center. It appeared the kill was likely related to feedlot runoff due to rains received in the area early Saturday morning. Live fish were observed in the area where dead fish were found. Approximately 200-300, chubs, suckers and minnows were observed dead during the investigation.
