Onsite Comments

Fisheries took a call from the general public concerning a kill at an unnamed lake near the intersection of Greenhill Road and Rainbow Drive in Waterloo on 3/22/07. George Wyth State Park staff took a look at the kill for us and reported small numbers (100-200 fish) of dead 3-4" bluegill, crappie, and yellow bass. Fisheries notified the general public caller of this finding with a cause as "natural" winter mortality. Ice has recently gone of the lakes in the area.
