The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

The Department will be utilizing the vendor Beeline and Blue to provide printed copies of Plans and Specifications and Addenda upon request. The department will no longer provide complimentary copies of Plans and Specifications to contractors or sub-contractors after award of the contract. This project consists of removing and reconstructing a portion of the parking lot. plus incidental work as required by the Iowa DNR construction inspector.
This project consists of installing 50 amp electrical services to 14 existing campsites located at Geode State Park in Henry County, Iowa and includes trenching and boring new electric lines, installing a new 600 amp distribution panel, 14 new 50 amp campsite electric pedestals, and replacing a non-metered campsite pedestal with a new metered campsite pedestal.

Replace Existing Camppad Pedestal With New Metered Pedestal
This project involves the removal of an existing vault restroom and storage containers to install a new vault restroom and maintenance building plus incidental work as required by the Iowa DNR construction inspector
The project consists of excavating shallow water ponds (18,000 CY) using this material to construct habitat mounds to elevations and configuration shown on NRCS plan, locate existing tile line and install non-perforated tile (1050 LF) at Mohling Wetland Development, Sweet Marsh WMA, Bremer County Iowa. This project is designed to remove and replace the metal roofing, gutters, downspouts and provide new insulation for the metal shop/office building. The contractor is also required to remove and replace the ridge cap on the metal storage building. Both buildings are at the Riverton WMA headquarters. Site restoration is required for all disturbed ares.
