Split August 2021 from segment 820. This segment matches the upper portion of Bailey Creek in the SWC and its associated Use Attainability Assessments.

Prior to the 2008 IR cycle, this segment had only the Class B(LR) warmwater aquatic life designated use. Due to changes in Iowa’s surface water classification approved by U.S. EPA in 2008, this segment now has the presumptive Class A1 primary contact recreation designated use and the warmwater aquatic life designated use is now Class BWW2.
