Assessment Unit Summary

Assessment Units are portions of a river or stream, or a lake, wetland, or reservoir, where one can consider the water to of the same quality throughout that portion. The Iowa DNR Water Monitoring and Assessment Section uses all readily-available data to assess whether or not the assessment unit is meeting its Designated Uses.
