Basis for Assessment
Used results of the October 1992 DNR stream use assessment in Winnebago County to assess support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses as PS due to (1) indications on field sheet of frequent alterations to stream channel from channel straightening, clearing of riparian vegetation, and from pasturing of riparian zone, (2) pool results of sampling for fish species (2 species captured), and (3) note on field sheet that stream lacked pooled areas for fish sampling.
