The Class BLW use was assessed as "Fully Supported" based on information from the DNR Wildlife Bureau. All other designated uses were “not assessed.”

Assessment Explanation

Class BLW -

According to the local DNR Wildlife Biologist, acomplete draw down was completed in 2022 to eliminate rough fish. Currently the system is in a clear water state and good submergent plant growth.As of December 2025, local DNR Wildlife Biologist indicates that there are no updates to this assessment.

Class HH - Fish Tissue sampling: No Data

In general, Iowa wetlands are not managed for recreational fisheries; thus, fish contaminant monitoring is not typically conducted at these waterbodies.
