Basis for Assessment

SUMMARY:  The Class B(LW) aquatic life uses remain assessed (evaluated) as "fully supported / threatened" (minor impacts) based on information from the IDNR Wildlife Bureau.   Fish consumption uses remain "not assessed."

EXPLANATION:  The aquatic life uses remain assessed as "fully supported / threatened" based on information from the Iowa DNR Wildife Bureau (see the assessment for the 2000 report for more information).

Fish consumption uses remain "not assessed."  In general, Iowa wetlands are not managed for recreational fisheries; thus, fish contaminant monitoring is not typically conducted at these waterbodies.
