Stream use assessment in Wright County.
Basis for Assessment
Stream assessment form indicates fair habitat quality. Relatively little substrate diversity and few pool/riffle sequences observed. Suspect that habitat has been degraded as a result of extensive channelization in headwaters. Stream was waded near the mouth in heavily timbered area. Stream there was very wide and shallow, lacking structure and cover for fish. Relatively low diversity of fish observed. Very few fish captured in relation to length of stream electrofished.
