Assessment Comments

Assessment is based on results of lake surveys and surveys by IDNR Fisheries Bureau.

Basis for Assessment

Used assessments of support of the Class A (prim contact) uses (=PS), and Class B(WW) aquatic life uses (=PS) for 94 rep.   An October 1993 DNR report (Hoyman et al.  1993) contains data summaries for WQ monitoring conducted from May 1992 through April 1993, but report does not analyze data or make statements regarding water quality.   Review of data does not suggest problems with chemical water quality of Lower Pine Lake.
