Basis for Assessment

Comments of DNR Wildlife Biologist indicate chronic flooding impacts caused by the Lock and Dam system on the Mississippi River are the primary threat to full attainment of B(LW) use.   Despite flooding impacts and presumed high nutrient levels from agricultural nonpoint sources, use support status was upgraded from PS to FST based on biologist recommendation.
