Basis for Assessment
Stream assessment form indicates below average habitat quality. Monotypic (sand) substrate and few pool/riffle sequences observed. Stream was levied and ditched in reach where assessed. Moderate diversity of fish species, mostly cyprinid species, observed. Carpsuckers, redhorse, catfish, and sunfish species notably were absent. Sampling effectiveness may have been a factor, but not mentioned in notes.
