Basis for Assessment
"General Use" waterbody; not assessed for the 1996 or 1998 reports. A fish kill was reported on this stream approximately 4 miles NE of Plainfield in Bremer County on August 16, 1997. An estimted 12,700 fish were killed over a 1.6 mile reach of stream. No cause or source of the kill was determined.
