Stream use assessment in Delaware County.
Basis for Assessment
This waterbody was broken into two segments in 2002. All prior documentation refers to the whole waterbody.
Stream assessment form indicates about average habitat quality. Some diversity of substrates and several pool/riffle sequences observed. Some stream straightening and pasture impacts observed, mostly near bridges. Frequent stream bank erosion and cow dung noted. Fair diversity and abundance of fish observed. Pasture use and channelization are threats to integrity of aquatic community.
