Basis for Assessment
This waterbody subsegment of Wolf Creek was created in 1998 due to the excessive length (36 miles) of the previous segment. For the 1998 report used a review of the field sheet from the June 1992 DNR stream use assessment in Tama County to consider the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses as "not assessed" due to lack of information on the aquatic communities of this stream reach. Notes on field sheet indicate seining was very difficult due to high flows.
