Basis for Assessment
Continued to assess support of both the Class A primary contact recreation uses and the Class B(LW) aquatic life uses as PS due to impacts of turbidity and siltation. These assessments were reviewed and approved by the DNR Fisheries Bureau. This lake was placed on Iowa's 1998 list of Section 303(d) waters due to water quality impacts of silt delivered to the lake from its watershed.
