Basis for Assessment

No violations of Class B(WW) criteria for DO/pH, or ammonia in 186 samples, 2 violations for chronic criterion for copper in 12 samples, with both violations on same day (92/04/01) (due to incomplete data, use BPJ to assess Class B uses as FST. Of the 168 samples analyzed for fecal coliforms, 52 were collect. at approx average flows with 14 of these samples having fecals > Class A WQC (=27%, approx = PS). Although 6 of 137 samples analyzed for NO3 exceeded Class C WQC, average levels of NO3 at the 4 stations ranged from 6.5 to 6.8 (mean < WQC = FS).
