Basis for Assessment
[This wetland was inadvertently left out of post-1986 versions of the Iowa Water Quality Standards. This wetland was designated for Class B(w) uses in the 1986 WQS.]
B(LR) use support upgraded from PS to FST based on recommendation of DNR Wildlife Biologist. Elevated nutrient levels delivered to the wetland in agricultural runoff are identified as the primary threat to continued full attainment of wetland use.
