Basis for Assessment
Used results of habitat assessment conducted for DNR stream use assessment to assess aquatic life uses as FST for the following reasons: (1) habitat score = overall median score for DNR stream use assessments (22), (2) field sheet indicates only isolated channel alteration, "some" erosion of stream bank, and existence of a riparian zone dominated by trees, and (3) comments on field sheet that too many snags and piles of debris existed to effectively seine (i.e., snags and debris piles provide cover for fish).
