Assessment Comments
Stream use assessment in Clinton and Cedar counties.
Basis for Assessment
Stream assessment forms indicate fairly good habitat quality. Some diversity of substrates and several pool/riffle sequences observed. Isolated to frequent instances of channelization also noted. Fairly diverse fish community observed including northern pike and smallmouth bass. Fish ratings would have been higher were it not for extensive blackspot oberved at both stream locations.
