Doe Creek IA 01-VOL-300
mouth (S30 T92N R4W Clayton Co.) to confluence with unnamed tributary in S1 T91N R5W Clayton Co.
Assessment Comments
Stream use assessment in Clayton County.
Basis for Assessment
Used a review of the field sheet from the October 1991 DNR stream use assessment to change the assessment of support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses to "not assessed" due to lack of sufficient information on which to develop an accurate assessment. That is, notes on field sheet indicated that stream was too rocky to seinie effectively. The above average habitat score, with numerous pool/riffle sequences and very diverse substrates and only minor alterations to the physical characteristics of this stream suggest a high quality, fully supporting, stream. Additional monitoring is needed to better determine the status of the aquatic communities and habitats of this stream.
