Basis for Assessment
Used data from one biocriteria site in Winneshiek County to make use support determination. Fish and habitat metrics from the stream use assessment protocol were applied to the data. Results indicate very good to excellent physical habitat quality. Fish community includes cold water species that indicate good water quality (i.e., mottled sculpin, slimy sculpin, brown trout).
