Assessment Comments
Two stream use assessments in Winneshiek County.
Basis for Assessment
Used results of stream use assessments to assess aquatic life uses as FST due to (1) habitat scores (27) exceeding the overall median score for DNR stream use assessments (22), (2) comments on field sheet: "runs over rocky outcropping very good substrate. . .", (3) fish scores (when corrected for % tolerant species) both equal 12 which exceeds the 75th percentile score (10) for stream use assessments where seining was used to sample the fish community.
