Assessment Comments

Assessment remains based on information from the IDNR Wildlife Bureau.

Basis for Assessment

[NOTES:  Prior to the 2002 cycle, the Waterbody ID number for this wetland was IA-WETLAND-37.   This waterbody is not in Iowa's current (2010) surface water classification (http://www.iowadnr.gov/water/standards/files/swcdoc2.pdf) and is thus classified only for general uses.   As such, only the general use protection for aquatic life will be assessed.  

SUMMARY:  The aquatic life uses remain assessed (evaluated) as "fully supported” based on information from the IDNR Wildlife Bureau.   The fish consumption uses remain "not assessed" due to the lack of water quality information upon which to base an assessment.   This assessment is the same as that developed for previous assessment/listing cycles.
