Assessment is based on (1) surveys of Nebraska fisheries biologists, (2) consultation with IDNR staff and (3) results of fish tissue monitoring.
Basis for Assessment
All fish contaminants were < 1/2 FDA action levels; thus assess fish consumption as FS. For 1992 report, DNR staff used BPJ to assess reach as PS due to siltation and nutrients from agriculture NPS. For 1994 report, assessed reach as PS due to habitat alterations from hydromodifications and alterations of flow regime.
