Assessment is based on the results of a 1990 IDNR stream use assessment conducted in Pottawattamie/Harrison counties.
Basis for Assessment
Used assessment of the B(LR) aquatic life uses developed for the 1994 report (PS). Additional study is needed to determine whether the low diversity condition observed in September 1990 was transient or is persisting. If low diversity remains evident, evaluation of causes and sources of water quality impairment will be needed.
