Assessment based on the results of 1990 IDNR stream use assessment conducted in Dickinson county.
Basis for Assessment
Continue to use the assessment of support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses developed for the 1994 report (=FST). A review of the field sheet from the October 1990 DNR stream use assessment shows that a majority of the expected fish taxa (7 of 11) for streams in the Des Moines Lobe (47b) subecoregion were present. Only isolated pasturing and stream bank erosion noted on field sheet. Additional monitoring is needed to update this assessment.
