Assessment based on results of 1995 biocriteria sampling and the October 1994 IDNR stream use assessment conducted in O'Brien county.
Basis for Assessment
Used results of the August 1995 DNR biocriteria sampling to upgrade the assessment of support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses from FST to FS due to (1) presence of a relatively diverse fish community (16 species from 5 families) & (2) presence of nearly all the expected fish taxa (8 of 9) for streams in the NW Iowa Loess Prairies (47a) subecoregion.
