Assessment is based on results of an October 1994 IDNR stream use assessment conducted in O'Brien County.
Basis for Assessment
Used results of the October 1994 DNR stream use assessment to assess support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses as FST due to (1) fish score (14) much better than the 75th percentile score (10) for DNR stream use assessments made with seines, (2) habitat score (21) is below the overall median score for DNR stream use assessments (22), but strength of fish score does not suggest an impairment. Continued support of aquatic life uses threatened by extensive channelization.
