Assessment Comments
Assessment is based on results of a October 1995 IDNR stream use assessment conducted Monona county.
Basis for Assessment
Used results of the DNR stream assessment conducted in Oct. 1995 in Monona County. Water was too deep and fast to sample fish, but habitat assessment indicates extensive channelization, freqent unstable/eroding banks, and a general lack of habitat diversity. Thus, assess support of the Class B(WW) aquatic life uses as PS due to habitat alterations.
