Basis for Assessment
Used information in 1987 edition of Iowa Fish and Fishing to assess support of the Class B(WW) aquatic life uses as PS due to impacts of channelization. River certainly supports an aquatic community, including large river sport fish, but extensive channelization has simplified aquatic habitats and reduced opportunities for fishing.
