Monitored by ISU in 1990 for Clean Lakes Classification Study.
Basis for Assessment
The assessments developed for the 1994 and 1996 reports were reviewed and approved by the DNR Fisheries Bureau. Thus, the Class A (primary contact recreation) uses were "not assessed" due to lack of swimming uses at this lake, and the Class B(LW) aquatic life uses were assessed as PS due to sediment and nutrients delivered to the lake in agricultural nonpoint sources. At the recommendation of the DNR Fisheries Bureau, this lake was added to the 1998 list of Section 303(d) waters.
