Continued to assess support of both the Class A primary contact recreation uses and the Class B(LW) aquatic life uses as partially supported (=PS) due to siltation and turbidity from nonpoint source pollution. These assessments were reviewed and approved by the DNR Fisheries Bureau. This lake was added to Iowa's 1998 list of Section 303(d) waters due to water quality impairments from silt delivered to the lake from its watershed.
