This lake, despite impoundment in the early 1980s, has not yet been designated in the Iowa water quality standards. Assessment for fishable and swimmable uses is based on recreational use data in Bachmann et al. (1994). Both fishable and swimmable uses were assessed as PS for the 1992 report.
