Basis for Assessment
Continue to use the assessments of support for the Class B(LW) aquatic life uses (=PS) and the Class C drinking water uses (=FST) developed for the 1996 report. The assessment of support of the Class B(LW) uses was reviewed and approved by the DNR Fisheries Bureau. This lake was placed on Iowa's 1998 list of Section 303(d) waters due to water quality impacts from siltation.
