Stream use assessment in 1991.
Basis for Assessment
Continue to use the assessment of support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses developed for the 1996 report (=FST). The 1991 DNR stream use assessment was conducted in early March; thus, the results of fish sampling are suspect. Additional monitoring is needed to update this assessment and to determine the status of the aquatic communities and habitats. Based on comments regarding the high quality of aquatic habitats, this is a potentially "fully supporting" Class B(LR) stream. The only threat to the support of the Class B(LR) uses noted on the field sheet from the March 1991 DNR stream use assessment was streambank erosion.
