Basis for Assessment
Used results of the March 1991 DNR stream use assessment to assess support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses as FST due to (1) habitat score (26) much better than the overall median score (22) for stream use assessments, (2) fish score (10) equal to the 75th percentile score for assessments made with seines, (3) field notes that indicate very diverse substrates, numerous pool/riffle sequences, and only isolated alterations to the channel, and (4) comment of field sheet that stream has "good diverse habitat for [a] headwater stream."
