Stream use assessment in October 1992.
Basis for Assessment
Used results of the October 1992 DNR stream use assessment to assess support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses as PS due to (1) habitat score (18) much worse than the overall median score (22) for stream use assessments and (2) indications on field sheet of extensive channelization and no substate diversity (sand). Only two fish species seined. Notes on field sheet indicated that stream meanders and habitat improves in the downstream reaches. The majority of the Class B(LR) reach, however, is channelized and thus only partially supports aquatic life uses.
