Basis for Assessment

Continued to assess support of the Class A primary contact recreation uses and the Class B(LW) aquatic life uses (both=PS) developed for the 1994 report.   These assessments were reviewed by the DNR Fisheries Bureau.   The DNR Fisheries biologist indicated that the water quality trend for this lake could be changed from "declining" to "improving." Due to these water quality problems, this lake was placed on the 1998 list of Section 303(d) waters at the recommendaton of the DNR Fisheries and Water Quality bureaus.
