Basis for Assessment
In the upstream reaches of B(LR) segment, the stream is ditched and has very monotypic habitat including little substr. diversity and variation in depth and current velocity. Where the stream was assessed in lower reaches closer to the mouth, the stream has fairly good habitat characteristics and a very diverse fish community including game fish and intolerant species. In the channelized reaches, seining for fish was very unproductive on two occasions. No explanation was offered for the lack of fish observed on either occasion.
