Assessment is based on (1) results of a DNR biocriteria sampling in 1998 and (2) results IDNR ambient monitoring NE of Statford.
Basis for Assessment
Continue to use the assessment of support of the Class B(WW) aquatic life uses (=FST) and fish consumption uses (=FS) developed for the 1996 report. The March/April 1998 edition of the Iowa Conservationist notes that Boone River downstream from Webster City support good numbers of channel catfish.
