Assessment Comments

Two stream use assessments in 1992.

Basis for Assessment

Stream assessment forms indicate fair habitat quality.   Most of habitat observed at two locations was mod.  swift run over sand and gravel bottom.   The stream is generally wide and shallow with deeper pockets of water associated with woody debris snags which are numerous in some reaches.   Stream channel has probably been widened as a result of flow alteration from ag.  tile drainage and channeliz.  in headwaters.   Despite altered habitat, stream supports a diverse fish community including several intolerant species.
