Basis for Assessment
Stream assessment form indicates fairly good habitat quality for a small stream in this region. Generally poorly developed pool/riffle system. Deeper water habitat found around woody debris, snags, and channel bends. Sedimentation impacts were noted. Channelization impacts are threat to integrity of aquatic community. Fairly good diversity of fish including some pool dwelling species observed.
