Basis for Assessment
Stream assessment form indicates above average habitat quality. Very diverse substrate and numerous pool/riffle sequences observed. Heavy encrustation of coarse substr in riffles noted. Abundant boulders and good pool depth provide habitat for s.m. bass. Very diverse fish community observed (24 species); ch. catfish and s.m. bass were commonly abundant.
