Basis for Assessment
Stream assessment form indicates fairly good habitat quality for a small stream in this region. Some diversity of substrate and several pool/riffle sequences observed. Channel bends, undercut banks, and woody debris provide additional cover and structure. Lacking deep pool habitat where assessed. Fairly good diversity of fish species dominated by cyprinids. Siltation of riffles noted as well as isolated pasture impacts along the stream.
